Hello! This is my blog. I own this. No one can take it away from me. Try if you can. You can ask for my accounts and passwords. Ha ha! I will not give it to you.
I own foodrecap.com, a blogger.com hosted blog, but decided to moved to WordPress self hosted blog. Why I did transfer? Don’t ask me. Ask those famous bloggers out there like Yuga, Anton and Darren.
I graduated Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Food Processing. I submerged my brain in food research for almost eight years. My specialty is food but it did not stop me from running an ecology blog, luntian corner.
I want to be the boss and I actually did it. I am the boss of this blog. Everyone is welcome to read my blog but I will refuse any job applications. Start your own blog if you want.
I think my writing is not yet good enough. For me, blogging is the best way to polish my writing skills.
I hate waking up early in the morning but loves going to bed very late at night. I hate it when someone is bossing me around. That is why a regular day job is not fit for my lifestyle. You can give suggestions and I will think of it carefully but I am not mandated to do it.
All articles and photos are owned by me or by their respective owners. You can plagiarized my work as long as you give a proper link credits.
I am not obliged to blog everyday. I will blog whenever or wherever I want as long as my brain and fingers are up and running.
All information written here are factual based from my knowledge and based from what I read and experienced. Please inform me for any contradicting issues!

You’re doing a great job with this blog. I am a consultant for the exclusive distributor for Duofos in the Philippines, Sagrex. It is the only marine tri calcium phosphate with all the trace sea minerals needed for human health. Apatite based rock phosphate cannot make these claims.
I have an association of agriculturists and non agriculturist in urban container gardening. We use Duofos as the basis of program of soil amendment as the basis of zero pesticide agriculture, a science found by Dr. William A Albrecht in 1963, rediscovered by Francis Chaboussou in 1985, rediscovered again by John Lutzenberger, an alternative Novbel Prize winner in 1995 and rediscovered in the Philippines by my brother Ka Maning Cortes, a forester from UP CF who willed himself to learn complete plant nutrition while working as an Internal Revenue Examiner for the BIR in Mindanao.
To make a long story short, I enrolled in 1963 at the University of Missouri as a PhD candidate in Genetics and Biochemistry, and learned about the discovery of Dr. Albrecht and what he multinational foundations instigated a strategy when they brought IRRI to Los Banos in 1960′s. How the chemical manufacturers suppressed Dr. Albrecht’s findings and proceeded to make the Philippines as their springboard for the export of the NPK imbalanced fertilization and toxic chemical rescue technology, promoted by Albrecht’s rival Norman Borlaug, and IRRI single handedly destroyed Philippine Agriculture we are now forced to retreat to a 1940-1955 strategy of “Organic Agriculture” to try to meet our own domestic need for the staple palay- you have observed from press reports, we are further and further away from satisfying self sufficiency goals.
Our presentation of the science of agriculture without pesticides is well received by NAFC the National Agriculture and Fisheries Council of the Department of Agriculture NAFC has given us the use of their seminar room every second Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 12 noon, to give seminars on how to grow plants completely free of pesticides. This seminar series have allowed us to organize a core group of people teaching their barangay neighbors to do container gardening tied to a tiangge concept of selling home grown vegetables in excess of their food needs in community markets. I invite you to come to our next seminar on January 8, 2012 at the NAFC seminar room to learn first hand the science of Trophobiosis.
Thank you for keeping up this blog.
Dr. Lino S. Cortes PhD Genetics.
