Neem (Azadirachto indica) the most potent wide-spectrum pesticide. Seeds leaves and barks contain commpounds with powerful insecticidal properties. It upsets the insect hormonal system and prevents it for developing to its mature stage. It also suffocates soft body insects and make them starve by removing their appetite.
Recipe for Neem as Organic Pesticide
Materials:
unwashed neem leaves
water to moisten leaves
1/3 crude sugar or molasses
Procedures:
1) Chop unwashed neem leaves
2) Add enough water to the level that it will moisten the neem leaves.
3) Add 1/3 crude sugar or molasses.
4) Stock for a week.
5) Strain the leaves and get the fermented neem concoction.
6) To apply, sue 1/2 liter solution to 16 liters water. Spray to plants.
(Chrysantemum cinerariifolium) contains a neurotoxin, Pyrethrium, which attacks the nervous system of insects. The plant is use to repel insects or as companion plant to drive pest away. The herb attacks insect’s nervous system, poison and causing quick deatch.
Recipe for Chrysanthemum as Organic Pesticide
Materials:
fresh or dry flowers and water
Procedure:
1)Boil the fresh or dry flowers and strain.
2) To apply, dilute the solution with 4 times the quantitiy of water. Stir until homogenous. Spray to plants.
Marigold (Tageteserecta) have musky, pungent, scent which deter insect pest. Effective againts leafhoppers, diamond backmoth, aphids and nemathodes.
Recipe for Marigold as Organic Pesticides
Materials:
marigold plants/flowers
water
soap
Procedure:
1) Extract juice of marigold leaves/ flowers
2) Mix with water and soap.
3) Spray at the rate of 2-4 tbsp per liter of water.
Acapulco (Cassia alata) contains chrysophanic acid, a fungicide to treat fungal infection. It can be use on plants infected with alternaria, cercospora, colletetrichum, diplodi and fusarium. It also has saponin, a laxative, effective in expelling external parasites.
Recipe for Acapulco as Organic Pesticide
Materials:
acapulco leaves
water
Procedures:
1) Extract juice of acapulco leaves.
2) Mix with water at the rate of a cup of juice per liter of water.
3) Spray on plants.
Anona (Annona muricata) is a botanical antimicrobial agent which treat bacterial and fungal infection. Effective against leafhoppers, catterpillars and diamond back moth larvae. It poison insect stomach, act as repellant and anti-feedant.

Materials:
1/2 kilograms seeds
water
soap
Procedures:
1) Pound the seeds into powder.
2) Mix with soapy water. Strain.
3) Spray on infected plant parts.
