How to Make Organic Fertilizer – Fish Amino Acid (FAA)

Raw Materials:
1 kilogram fish gills or spoiled fish
1 kilogram muscovado sugar or brown sugar

Procedure:
1) Mix the sugar and fish ingredients
2) Fill in a suitable container and cover with paper or cheesecloth.
3) Place the container in a dry cool place and away from direct sunlight.
4) Allow to ferment for 3-4 weeks and filter. Throw the remaining solids in a compost pit.
5) Place the extract in a clean sterilized container. Store for another week before using as foliar fertilizer
6) To use: Mix 1 tablespoon to 1 liter of water or 3 tablespoon to a galon of water.

    How ironic that in USA , Pilgrims were taught by Native Indians how to grow corn. The Indians would place kernel of corn in a fish head and place fishhead in soil. This would fertilize the kernel and the cornstalk as it would grow.
