Eat Bulaga has a project named “Plastic ni Juan”. This project aims to collect waste plastics. Collected plastics will be recycled to plastic chairs that will be donated to public schools.
Plastics like bags, bottles and containers usually end up in canals, rivers and sea. Clog canals cause floods during rainy seasons. Garbage are pollutants to rivers and seas that kill fish and other water organisms. We all know the fact that plastics last for thousand years. Polluting the environment is easy but restoration is a very hard task especially if we don’t have enough discipline.
Plastic and other waste can be sold as source of extra income but these are very cheap. A kilogram of plastic depending on type cost only seven pesos approximately. Donating it to Eat Bulaga will never hurt your pocket. Donating can help lessen the pollution and can help studying children by providing them classroom chairs.
