From left to right: tin can, clay pot and plastic pot. Tell me which pot do you prefer and why?
Tin can. They are only used by casual gardeners. Enthusiast opt for clay or plastic pot. Tin cans are prone to rust. A plant potted in it will gradually loss its container over time. The speed of degradation is dependent on climate condition, placement and frequency of watering.
Clay Pot. It was made of clay soil. Everyone knows about that. Clay pots are fragile but very resistant to weathering. Most ornamental we see in garden are planted in this kind of pot. Decorative pots are made of clay. Disposal is easy in case of breakage. Just pound it and mix with your garden soil.
Plastic Pot. This one is quickly gaining popularity. Every garden store I see is selling this. Its durable, resistant to breakage, light weight and cheap. The only problem is disposal. Plastic last for thousand of years. Damaged pots gonna end up as pollutants to surroundings.
