I had been from Cartimar once. This place is popular for garden plants, surplus clothes, shoes and pets. My former boss bought several love bird pairs and steel cages. We passed along the plants section and he bought plants too. My friend bought a nice pair of shoes. 
I bought nothing! My eyes were satisfied watching lovely birds, cute cats and huggable dogs. I wished I could brought home a cat but its price was too high for my budget. I never had a cute cat but at least I save my penny for our house construction.
I thought Cartimar is only popular for selling pets. However, most pet shops are also selling exotic pets. Animals that have very low population – almost extinct like monitor lizard, flying lizard, iguana etc… according to report by askyon tv5. Exotic animals need permits prior to purchase but are not needed in Cartimar trading.
Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureaus stated that pet shop owners are really persistent. They eventually return to illegal deed after few weeks or months of confiscation and penalty.
